my first model that's done in proper dayligh! hence the name... it's also a move away from my 'signature' 'paintings' (the dark stuff).... hope it's good...

suggestions!!?

its nice. but the DOF effect seems a bit heavy to me. which software did you used btw?

3ds max 6... rendered on light tracer. i'd like a second opinion regarding the DOF

I think the DOF is too heavy too. The cloth on the table should be draped more over the table, its seems like very thick fabrick. The table seems very low to the ground as well. But i think the light looks great!

Great detail-work in the model - especially the grass. In general, heavy DOF looks better on telephoto shots (smaller angle of view on the camera). If you re-frame this with a narrower camera angle, then the heavy DOF will look very natural. Nice work, and I'm looking forward to seeing more...

Pretty good, although, being a little strict about spelling, "adiues" is spelled "adieu", if you mean goodbye, and there's no "s" on the end...
