Inspired from space work of Greg Martin. It's much more mature (i think) from my first work (theVoid). Looks more realistic too.

About the piece: It's supposed to be a cold giant which has 2 moons both without environments. But they're orbiting so close to the giant that they're borrowing it's environment. (For that to happen, their speed of orbit has to be huge.)

That along with the usual (but slightly different) background star field.

i think you really nailed the planetoids, though your star field is not diverse enough. i think you have too many of the medium size and brightness stars for it to look truly random. that aside the piece is very beautiful! +5

Nicely done creating a space scene. Several more galaxies throughout the image would add additional realism to this piece. Second moon is too hidden behind the planet, which could a nice dynamic to this image. Well done, it certainly is an improvment over your previous attempt.
